Emerald Coast Science Center

Being a parent is hard work. You find yourself constantly trying to find a way for your kids to have fun and learn at the same time. You can easily accomplish that during your Destin vacation. Just take the kids to the Emerald Coast Science Center and they will learn a ton and have a blast in the process. Then you won’t feel nearly as guilty when you spend the rest of the trip lounging on the beach.

Exhibits

The Emerald Coast Science Center has exhibits that your kids will love. The Robotics exhibit is new to the science center and it is a ton of fun. It includes interactive robots, including underwater exploration robots. If your kids have any interest in robots, they will be blown away by this exhibit.

The Under the Hood and Wind Tunnel exhibit is also a real treat. The kids can fly and land a model airplane while navigating it through a wind tunnel. They can also learn about cars.

The Emerald Coast Science Center also has the Critters and Bubble Room exhibit. As the name suggests, it contains a variety of critters. It also has an air cannon, and kids can see how big of a bubble they can make.

Finally, the Color and Light exhibit teaches kids about the properties of colors and light. The Emerald Coast Science Center manages to do this in a fun way that excites children. You might even learn a thing or two during this exhibit.

Admission

Kids can get into the Emerald Coast Science Center for $7. Seniors get in for $8 and adults get in for $9. The Emerald Coast Science Center also runs 2 for 1 Sundays every fourth Sunday of the month. If you come during this deal, you will get a free admission for everyone one you purchase.

Be sure to stop by the Emerald Coast Science Center during your vacation. That way, your kids will be even smarter when they go home.
